Hope Sings Applique Workshop: The Hope Sings workshop focuses on hand appliqué skill-building and techniques designed to help class participants successfully complete this classically styled piece. The class will be comfortable for quilters of all skill levels. Techniques covered will include but are not limited to: • Applique leaves • Broderie Perse & layered appliqué roses • Reverse appliqué • Appliqué ribbon • Woven appliqué cross-hatching • Embroidery embellishment. Note: The workshop can be designed specifically for your group, preferably in a two day or extended day format. While the techniques presented will be targeted to the needs of the hand stitcher, those preferring to work on the project using machine appliqué will also benefit from this workshop.
